I’m shy, Please come say Hi! :D

You may not know me but I'm willing to introduce myself. My name is Christelle Marie L. Magtoto. I'm turning 20 this July 13. I'm currently a fourth-year student taking up Bachelor of Science in Education major in English at one of the most prestigious schools in Pampanga, Holy Angel University.

When I was in pre-school, part of our graduation ceremony is to announce what we would like to be in the future, back then my little mind told everyone that I would like to be a mermaid which erupted laughter from the audience. Comes elementary I decided I wanted to be a nurse but when High School started I was certain that I would be a successful lawyer someday. That's when I realized nothing is certain in life. From a mermaid to a nurse and to a lawyer, I ended up taking education and to be honest, at first I was like "what the hell happened?" but even back then, deep inside me I knew, teaching is where I belong.

People often ask me why I chose teaching as a profession and I would end up saying either I don't know or because it runs in the family and is expected from me but as time passes, I grew to love teaching and if someone would ask me right now why I chose to teach, I would simply say because I love it and because I want to be an instrument of change to help shape the youth to reach their full potential and at the same time, I believe that teaching gives a sense of fulfillment that no amount of money can top.

I'm not saying that teaching is full of rainbows and unicorns because we all know that it's quite the opposite. It's a challenge. Imagine having to deal with a room full of different personalities and beliefs. Chaotic. Not to mention, teachers are expected to always be a role model of discipline, fairness and all the poster perfect stuff, it's exhausting but part of the responsibility. A challenge worth facing.
